Tamar (Tatuli) Gigitashvili is a psychologist by profession. She has received her BA degree in psychology and MA degree in psychotraumatology from the Ilia State University. Tatuli is a certified trauma focused cognitive-behavioral therapist from Cardiff University and a certified EMDR therapist by the Europe EMDR society.
Tatuli, since 2015, is working for the Global Initiative on Psychiatry - Tbilisi (GIP), which is implementing multiple projects in the mental health. Tatuli has been working as a psycho-traumatologist at the psychosocial rehabilitation center in Tserovani, helping the internally displaced people after war of 2008. Tatuli has also an experience in working with adolescents in conflict with law by providing group meetings on anger and aggression management..
Tatuli is a member of Georgia society of psychotrauma and Georgian society of EMDR . Tatuli joined the Public Health Foundation of Georgia in 2018 and holds a position of psychologist/psychotherapist.
