EU-FUNDED PROJECT “ADVOCACY FOR CHILD AND YOUTH PROTECTION” WORKSHOP IN BATUMI

Presenting interim results of the project “Advocacy for Child and Youth Protection” and discussing cooperation possibilities for strengthening child protection

 

On 28th of February 2018, at 10:30 a.m., in the frame of EU-funded project “Advocacy for Child and Youth Protection” the Public Health Foundation of Georgia, Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University (BSU) and public organisation “Step Forward” will hold the workshop.

The aim of the workshop is to introduce and sum up project goals, planned activities, its 1st year results and to discuss the possibilities of a potential cooperation for strengthening child protection. Local state authorities and decision makers in the child protection field are invited to attend the workshop.

 

The aim of the project “Advocacy for Child and Youth Protection” is improvement of child and youth welfare and protection system to prevent and provide adequate respond to child and youth victims of domestic violence and sexual abuse.  

 

The project is implemented by the Public Health Foundation of Georgia together with public organization “Step Forward”, Rehabilitation and Development Charity Centre Tanaziari and International Child Catholic Bureau (BICE). Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University and Child Helpline International are associate partners of the project.

Location: Batumi, Ninoshvili 11, Hotel “Intourist Palace” conference hall. Duration of the meeting: From 10:20 a.m. till 13:30 p.m.
