In the framework of the EU-funded project “Advocacy for Child and Youth Protection” the Public Health foundation of Georgia presents social video. With the help of this video, we would like to raise awareness about the helpline and tell children to reach us when they need and seek support.
One of the important services of the project „Advocacy for Child and Youth Protection” is child helpline with number 116 111, which is available for counselling children, youth, their family members and any individual who wants to share child related problems.
The project aims at improving child and youth protection system to prevent and provide adequate response to children and youth affected by domestic violence (DV) and sexual abuse (SA).
Child and Youth Advocacy Centers are established and function in Tbilisi, Zugdidi and Batumi. All three Advocacy Centers aim at protecting children and youth and providing rehabilitative services to children, youth and their family members – survivors of domestic violence and sexual abuse.
The project is implemented by the Public Health Foundation of Georgia.
Project partners are Rehabilitation and Development Charity Centre Tanaziari, “Step Forward” and International Child Catholic Bureau (BICE).
Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University and Child Helpline International are Associate partners of the project.
