Collaboration towards combating Child Sexual Abuse

Project goals:
• Contribute to the establishment of a comprehensive, child-friendly and child-centered child protection system in Georgia;
• Strengthening child friendliness of child welfare and justice systems for children affected by violence in Georgia by enhancement of expertise and coordinated work of professionals from civil society and government institutions on child friendly procedures in case of child sexual abuse.

Objectives:
• Enhance capacity and expertise of professionals of civil society and government institutions in order to improve procedures for children affected by sexual violence;
• Strengthen coordination and professional exchange between CSO and Government Institutions on ‘child friendliness’ of policies and practices for children affected by sexual and other forms of violence;
• Improve awareness amongst practitioners, policymakers and key stakeholders about the child friendly procedures in cases of child abuse.
