Project location:Tbilisi and Samtskhe-Javakheti region (Aspindza, Akhalkalaki and Ninotsminda municipalities)
Overall objective: To contribute to the full development of children and young people with disabilities in Georgia in accordance with the principles of the Convention on the Rights of the Child.
Specific objective: Children and young people with disabilities in the city of Tbilisi and the Samtskhe-Javakheti region grow up in a caring environment and co-participate in their socio-professional inclusion.
Expected Result 1: Children with disabilities and their families are aware of the increased risk of violence against them and have access to appropriate support services.
Expected Result 2: Adolescents and young people with disabilities and their families have acquired skills to participate in Income Generating Activities and sell their produce.
Expected Result 3: Child protection professionals and community leaders have acquired the knowledge to prevent and respond to cases of violence involving children with disabilities.
